It has a rich history and it never fails to impress visitors with its elegant atmosphere, monumental buildings, broad tree lined avenues, boutiques and castles. Den Haag is also known as international city of peace and justice, housing the International Court of Justice, the Permanent Court of Arbitration, the Yugoslavia Tribunal, and the International Criminal Court.

Den Haag is located on the North Sea shore (venue in google maps). Its beach resort Scheveningen is just 3 kilometers from the centre of Den Haag. It is known for its wide, sandy beaches and its endless dunes. It is a lively place, with many hotels, restaurants, shops, cinemas and a casino, but also offering the possibility to have quiet walks through the dunes or along the shore.
Den Haag is just 45 km from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, and less than 20km from the beautiful cities of Delft, Leiden and Gouda.
